There are 4 layers of the rainforest.

The layers of the rainforest are the ground floor, understory, canopy layer and the emergent.

Mangos of the Congo rainforest usually grow in the canopy layer where a variety of animals such as monkeys feast on the luxurious fruits.

Mangos like to grow specifically in the canopy layers climate (which is 22-34 degrees Celsius) because of the large rainfall and sunlight that the canopy gets.

The height of the trees in the canopy grow to about 20-40 metres tall.

On average the Congo rainforest produces 213,000 tons of mangoes each year!
